Golfers on Golf Radio is a one-hour golf program, that is hosted by Ed Stevenson, Rory Spears, and Bill Berger. AM 820 WCPT Chicago is located in the heart of the Chicago area Am dial. In between WGN and WBBM. Its signal range covers four states, including the Chicagoland area, NW Indiana, SW Michigan, and Southern Wisconsin. WCPT is our new home for this year.

GOG Radio is headed into its 30th year, as the longest-running golf radio show in Chicago. The goal is again to provide informative conversations and interviews with those who enjoy the sport of golf.

In 2014, the show did its first live remotes at two area golf courses. It made two more live appearances in 2015 and in 2016. We did a live show from Myrtle Beach in 2017. We hope to be doing live shows from area courses

again in 2020.

The one-hour program will provide news from local golf associations, such as the Illinois PGA, Illinois Junior Golf Association, The Western Golf Association, (WGA), and the Women’s Western Golf Association.

News regarding the PGA Tour and other professional tours are covered. GOG Radio also reports on news and events hosted by the USGA.

Included on the show is information on new golf equipment, travel destinations, and golf course improvements or renovations. Golfers on Golf Radio will talk about ratings that the area’s top courses receive from national publications.
