Nighttime Signal Interference

WCPT 820 powers down during the night

WCPT in Chicago used to be a daytime-only station but built a tower array in Joliet with a directional nighttime signal from Joliet to Chicago. We're licensed to broadcast at 5800 watts in all directions during the day, but only 1500 watts, to the northeast at night. WBAP in Dallas is a clear channel radio station.
